The cold that softly feels her cheeks gradually becomes rigid, like if some man with rough hands wants to wake her up. She slowly opens her eyes to an inverted world, feeling the weight of her body all inside her head. No comfy bed or woolly skin. She finds herself hanging upside down in the middle of forest. She doesnít have her hands. They are tied up in her back. The tailing end of her dress is cut from the knees. She goes from confused to shocked and then scared in a moment. Nobodyís around. All that catches into eyesight is a countless number of trees. Branches tangled together, leaves so dark that indicate the image of a colorless death, a heavy fog that limits the range of eyes, and a creeping cold air that altogether fright her out of her wits. She screams out for help. Her wailing scream cuts through the silent cold in the forest. She pushes on the ties of her hands, swinging randomly in order to free herself. All but a waste of energy. She remains the same and her wrists get hurt. All in a sudden a figure appears in front of her. Wearing a rough red robe, face covered in the shadow of her hood. Snow stops screaming. The evil in red begins to stroll up towards her. Snow's heart beats up like a running rabbit that flees for its life. It echoes in her brain and with each beat, she struggles to get free. Her heart would break free from her chest if it could pound any harder. Her eyes fill up with cold tears. The evil draws its hood back. She waits to see a monster under it. But suddenly a woman appears. A woman just like her. Her heart settles and her tears stop. The sob that got her throats, now frees it up. "Youíre a woman. Why did you steal me? Why did you steal me?!" She yells at her. No response from the woman in red. She simply just glances over her face. "I should have known. But that bastard should have known better than to treat me this way. His kingdom will burn to the ground? Then my knights will find you and set you on a stake to wither to your death." Says Snow. "Still a fool, even though youíre at death." Red says. "How dare you talk to me like that? Iím a princess. I rule over you and this ground and everything that lives over it is under my reign. Free me! Now." Snow says angrily. "Iím afraid you have no demand around here, princess." Red says and begins to spin around her. "Have you ever heard of the evil spirit that wanders the forests?" She asks her gently. "Get me down. I will order to hang you from your toes." Snow mindlessly demands and Red carelessly ignores her. She continues to tell her a story. "They say a witch lives in the forest who steals beautiful maidens and consumes them. The more beautiful they are, the more their chances to get stolen. She leaves their bodies behind, bodies that their throats are cut and their skin is pale white. Do you know why?" She asks near her face. Snow that is increasingly panicking only listens. "Because their blood is sucked out." She whispers that in her ear and gets in front of her. "People say several things about her, that she is a devil and appears as a pretty girl. Some believe that she is from the depths of hell. People who saw her say that she appears in a red robe, always covering her face, and she carries a knife with her everywhere." She says and turns to her with the knife in her hand. The smile she gives her and the shiny edge of her blade become so terrifying. "The one she uses to cut the throat of her victims with." Says Red and approaches. Now that her true identity is revealed, Snow is way more scared than before. "I have a lot of riches. I will give you so much that you wonít be able count it. You will live like a princess." She humbly says with a tone that vibrates lightly. "I thought you were going to set me to a stake." She continues. "You are a wealthy woman, but you have a more precious thing than money, and itís your life. Thatís what I desire." Says Red and smiles. "How much did he give you? Iíll give you ten times worth that price. Please just donít kill me." Snow desperately asks her. "Iím sorry princess, but money means nothing to me." Says red. "I can make it fifty... a hundred times more than he already gave you. Donít kill me... donít kill me, please!" She cries. "How many maids serve at your reign? How many of them can you give me?" She asks her. "All of them, as many as you want. You can kill them all." Snow says immediately and without a doubt. "You tend to sacrifice many lives for your own sake. What a great ruler you are." She says. "But even if thatís true, I cannot spare you. You are beautiful. The blood in your body is one of a kind. No, I cannot let you go." Red says and gently puts the knife on her throat. Snow cries out from fear. "Please! Please! Iím not the most beautiful girl that lives. Thereís a more beautiful one." She desperately says. "Why should I believe you? People say anything when they get closer to death." Red says and wonders. She keeps the knife on her throat but stops from killing her. "I know that there is. A girl, so beautiful that people would kill to have glimpse of her. I can prove it to you. Thereís a statue in my chamber that speaks of everything you ask from it. She will tell you that a more beautiful girl lives in some father lands." Says Snow. "Oh princess, do you really thought that I will follow you to my death trap?" She says and pushes the edge of her blade onto her skin. The sharp edge touches her bare skin and makes her blood rush through her veins. "Wait. I know where she lives. I know where you can find her." Snow says quickly. "You are lying." Red suspects her and the same time falls for her story. "I might be. But will you risk the chance of having the most beautiful girl instead of the most beautiful of all?" She asks her. In a sudden Red decides to believe that she is telling the truth. The stories are right. So there lives the most beautiful girl of all. She seemingly doesnít lie. Yet she is not telling the solid truth. "Do you know where exactly she lives?" Red asks her. Snow nods. She has some reasons to believe her. Desire becomes doubt and doubt turns out to be certain. Itís a great catch that she cannot let it slip. "If you kill me you will never find her." Snow says. Red draws the knife back from her throat. She decides to spare this fresh and young blood for a greater one. "Tell me her name." Red asks her. "If I tell you, youíll just kill me. That will be my seal for life." Snow says and Red quickly puts the knife back on her throat, strictly looking into her eyes. "You better not lied to me."
