“Samantha” she heard the wind say. It had been a long walk through the town, and she was so cold that she was shivering. Samantha got closer to the gate, and could see a blue lights shining through the trees as she walked down a narrow path that ended to the edge of the forest. Samantha always loved to walk the outside of the town, which was near a forest. She saw the blue light again. She walked a little farther down the path. Then she turned to the right and saw the blue light through the trees. Samantha took about ten steps to the right and saw something that she couldn’t believe was actually there. It had bright blue scales that seemed to reflect the light through the trees. It also had big bright blue wings. To her it looked like a dragon. “It couldn’t be,” she thought. Then she closed her eyes and when she opened them the thing was gone. The tall trees had begun to thin out. Samantha could see the whole town. The town, which was where Samantha lived, was small. The house that Samantha lived in was a huge log cabin that rose up along the forest. There was not much space in this town, but people did not mind. They always found a way to have fun. As the sun was setting below the trees, Samantha quickened her pace. She needed to get home before the sunset, or her husband might get mad. Her husband was named Jason; he was tall with brown hair. Jason got worried every time Samantha came home late. Samantha had two boys, and one girl. Their names were Jake, Preston, and Sage. Jake was a man, or so he thought he was. He was about sixteen years old. His hair was black and shiny. Jack always had to have it spiked just a little on the top. He was a guy that loved to wear big baggy pants and long shirts. He always would were his shoes a size too big. He was considered the cutest boy in school. When Samantha would come home, she would usually find that Jack was staying up in his room working on homework or reading a book. Jake loved to read, that was his favorite thing to do. Now Preston on the other hand was the youngest in his family, he was about ten years old. His hair was like his older brother. Preston was a picky person. If something was not just right, it was not going to happen. At school, he was not the most popular, nor the one that everyone picked on. He was just an average every day regular boy. Preston always kept his room a mess. If you were to go in there, which I wouldn’t if I were you, you would not find a thing, except maybe the TV. Preston would always like to play video games. He didn’t like to play sports like his older brother. Now Sage, well, she was the spoiled one. She always got what she wanted. Her brothers didn’t like the fact that she got all the attention. Their sister loved to pull pranks’ on them, and every time she did they would get in trouble. She was like her mother, tall, skinny, and very smart. She looked like her mother all except her hair. She got her hair from her dad. Sage and her dad had brown hair. If you weren’t looking carefully you might think it was black, but it was brown.
