Steve and Rob sat in a room.
“Well. This isn’t very interesting, is it?” said Steve, looking around the bare room.
Rob nodded in agreement. “Come on, Narrator. Give us something to work with.”
Fine. Steve and Rob sat in a room. In the middle of the room was a hand ball.
“Well,” said Steve. “Wanna play catch?”
“Does it look like we can do anything else?” said Rob.
Steve threw the ball. Rob failed to catch it. Rob clumsily went to pick up the ball. Rob threw the ball. Steve caught the ball easily. Steve threw the ball. Rob failed to catch it. Rob clumsily went to pick up the ball. Rob tried to throw the ball but it ended up falling to the floor. Also, Rob has terrible body odor.
“Okay, what the fuck?” said Rob.
The Narrator is bored. Steve and Rob go into the trash bin.
I can’t really think of anything to write at the moment. You know, I had this short burst of motivation yesterday when I discovered that Reddit (You don’t know Reddit? What have you been doing your whole life?) had this subreddit called “writing prompts”. There are a lot of really cool and interesting writing prompts on there and I suppose I had a flash of creativity or something because I started to write a story off one of those prompts.
That moment of productivity lasted approximately one and a half pages. Then I realized that I had no idea what the hell where I was going with my story, and I stopped working on it. Seriously. I don’t even know where I’m going with this one either.
Well, this really isn’t a story. I guess this is just a place for me to get my thoughts down. Guess you were expecting some sort of short story with an interesting plot, well-developed characters, and whatnot? Well, nope, you just have me. Mr. Narrator.
Anyways, what about you, dear reader? How was your week?
Did you do anything fun? Did you eat out? Did you eat anyone out?
Okay, so I guess this really isn’t going anywhere. Seriously, there’s really no story here; I’m just rambling because I’m bored.
I guess I’m going to go take a shower.
Maybe I’ll have some new ideas when I get back.
